What is a good medicine for kids when thier teeth hurt?

My 5 year old has been complaining about a toothache recently and I don’t know what to give her. Can anyone help? Know of any home remedies? Or a good over the counter product?

Make her an appt with a dentist tomorrow. In the meantime give her some ibuprophen.

    Orajel works pretty well..
Tylenol or Motrin would help too.
Does it hurt her to eat hot/cold stuff? Could it be a cavity?
My mom used to crush up an aspirin and have me put it on my gums when I was getting my molars…but I don’t know how well that would work on the tooth..

Take them to the dentist. Any over the counter medication is only a temporary solution, unless they have a tooth coming it.
Orajel or any pain relievers like Tylenol/Advil/Asprin can help, but won’t fix anything.

Number 1: take her to the dentist, she is old enough now.
Number 2: Rub brandy on her tooth/gums, yes it sounds weird but it really really works. and its a plus for you becasue you will have some relaxation for a few hours..
